Rev. Dottie Escobedo -Frank came to CrossRoads in July of 2005. She has been a pastor for the last 10 years at three other churches. Prior to joining the clergy she was a social worker for fifteen years. Pastor Dottie is the author of Sermon Seeds, Igniting Worship: Advent & Christmas, and a contributor in Creative Worship:A Video Workshop for Worship Leaders and Teams. Her style of worship is innovative and relaxed. In addition to leading worship at CrossRoads, she teaches at conferences that are designed to inspire worship leaders to create a more vibrant worship service.
Jill Thompson is an Arizona State Alumni and has worked for non-profit organizations for the last 7 years; prior to that she worked for several Fortune 500 companies. Her wide breadth of experience includes, project management, development, communications and operations. Jill came to worship at CrossRoads in 2005 searching for a way to add more God into her busy life. She joined the staff a few short months later and is delighted to be part of the gracious CrossRoads community.
At the age of 4 Jacob Koller began studying classical piano. At age 5 he gave his first piano recital and before entering high school he won over 10 classical piano competitions (including the Arizona Yamaha Piano Competition).
In high school he developed a new passion for jazz and improvisation. He began working professionally in the Phoenix area from the age of 14, playing with the finest jazz musicians in the valley including Dennis Roland, Jesse Mcguire, Margo Reid, Dwight Killian, Dom Moio, and Fred Forney. He attended Arizona State University on a full jazz scholarship and studied under Chuck Mahronic.
He has also studied privately with world class pianists such as Kenny Werner, Fred Hersch and Uri Caine and has performed all around the globe with the likes of Mark Dresser, Terrence Blanchard, Tony Malaby and Martin Denny.
Jacob is the featured pianist during both worship services at CrossRoads.

Cliff Wright began performing jazz at the age of 12. As a teen he traveled around the world performing with the Massachusetts Youth Wind Ensemble and the Greater Boston Youth Symphony. His resume also includes conducting the Middlesex Wind Ensemble and performing with the Boston Philharmonic. Cliff continues to perform locally in Arizona for various events. At CrossRoads he directs all the musical ensembles and performs in both services. Cliff is known for putting a jazzy spin on traditional hymns and composing new songs for worship.
